Prince Jughead

I am calling this hat The Prince Jughead.
 Well, this is my first pattern, so be kind! Let me know if there are any errors or typos, please and thank you!
Yes, you may sell the finished product. No, you may not sell, copy or otherwise take credit for this pattern. Please link/reference this page when sharing this pattern. Thanks and happy hooking!
You will need;

Some notes:
  • Ch2 at beginning of rounds does count as an hdc
  • mod-dec = Modified Decrease = insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull loop through, SKIP 1 STITCH and insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull loop through (now have 3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through all loops.

    Modified Decrease in this pattern means you pick up one stitch, skip a stitch and pick up the next stitch, yarn over and pull through all loops
  • For Instruction on the Magic Loop (aka open loop, magic ring, or magic circle) technique go HERE.
  • Make note of this sneaky stitch. It will want to get buried under all the sc's and ch's that you worked into the ch-3 space, but it's still there and it still counts.
  • Last row of crown - after (2sc, ch3, 2sc) into ch-3 sp, make sure you put your next sc here.
